40,000 scientific studies
When developing formulas for new nutraceutical products, we base our work on vital scientific research from world-leading universities and institutions.
Additionally, we don’t just rely on the fact that ingredients have shown sound therapeutical effects with a documented cause and effect result in a limited number of scientific studies and clinical tests. We base our products on substances and ingredients that have been judged by the European Food and Safety Authority to have well-proven documented effects beyond any reasonable doubts. In this way, we know that we are selling products that work.
Best documented supplement of the world
Our main product line is Omega-3. Omega-3 is probably the best-documented supplement in the world. More than 40,000 scientific studies have been undertaken, documenting an array of health benefits connected with Omega-3, including areas such as heart, brain, eye, and the circulation system.
37 trillion cells depend on Omega-3
The body is made of an average of 37 trillion cells. All these cells are dependent on Omega-3 for normal functioning. However, the body can only produce a tiny amount of Omega-3 itself. We therefore depend on obtaining a sufficient amount of Omega-3 from food or supplements. Health authorities around the world have issued a recommendation for the daily intake of Omega-3. World Health Organization and European Food and Safety Authority recommend an intake of 250 mg of Omega-3 per day (EPA + DHA). This can be achieved through 2-3 servings of oily fish per week or by supplements. However, very few people eat oily fish as regularly as this and are therefore dependent on supplements. People in Central Europe eat less fish and are more deficient in Omega-3 than the rest of Europe. Two capsules of OmegaMarine Forte+ are enough to meet the WHO and EU recommended daily intake, even without eating any oily fish at all.
